SLITTER SHIMS IN COLOR (The color tells the thickness)

OVERARM TOOLING
Artus Overarm Tooling, namely Overarm Separator Spacers and Steel Separator Discs, combines the characteristics of outstanding product performance: precision manufacture, durability, and superior quality.
3S Overearm Separator Spacers: Artus 3S separator spacers are available in linen or canvas grade phenolic. They also come in nylon in optional colors. The spacers are made to withstand the toughest wear over time. They protect metal strips, preventing scratching and marring during take-up. This is particularly important to materials with a bright finish. Whatever material you choose, you'll find Artus separator spacers easy to use and low in cost.
Steel Separator Discs: Artus superior quality separator discs are custom made exactly to user specifications, including taper (double/single) and thickness. Available to a maximum hardness of 58/60 Rockwell "C", Artus steel separator discs are made from the finest steel, and guarantee long-lasting, dependable performance at competiive prices.
SYNTHETIC RUBBER STRIPPER RINGS
Artus stripper or guide spacers are made of synthetic rubber, generally Buna-N and come in a range of durometers and optional colors. They prevent scratching or marriing the strips. Additional advantages are:
Easy Set-Up: No additional set-up time is required with Artus stripper rings and guide spacers. They slip over the metal spacers while the set-up is being made.
Low Original Cost: Artus synthetic rubber rings do not require expensive molds. Molds for Artus rubber rings are low in cost. And they can be made from 1/8" up.

To make a bid, we must have the following specifications: Outer diameter of your metal spacers; outer diameter of your knives; thickness of rubber spacers; and type and thickness of the metal to be slit.
POLYPROPYLENE TAPE
Artus polypropylene tape provides necessary adhesion when tabbing the ends of slit coils prior to handling. The tape comes in 60 yard rolls, which are available in four widths from 3/8" to 2" and with a choice of two opitional adhesive/tensile strengths. Artus polypropylene tapes are non-filament. They offer superior adhesion in tabbing, yet leave no residue or stain when removed from the slit metal. Also, they can be used for taping the perimeter of knives to prevent marking of the strip.
